Job Description Summary:
Part of the SPTS Engineering division, the Equipment Engineering and Development Group is a multi-disciplined team, providing solutions to enable the integration of SPTS process systems into customer semiconductor fabrication factories worldwide. The team ensures we design, document and release parts to sustain the current products and develop next generation products.
You will be an expert, graduate calibre Electrical Design Engineer with a thorough understanding of all aspects of electrical and electronic design. You will be moving projects forward ensuring designs are compliant and properly documented. This is a great opportunity to work on complex engineering problems in a growing and fast-paced environment.
You would be working with other engineers in the group with equipment design/integration and expect to work to tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical / electronic control and interface design
* Electrical assembly design
* Design of electrical enclosures
* Analogue and digital circuit design
Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
* Proven experience working in an electrical/electronic design role
* Strong understanding of Machinery safety regulations and EU harmonized standards
* KNwledge of regulations such as EN60204, EN13849 would be beneficial
* Design package and software skills
Key Skills:
* Will a have a flexible work ethic
* Will have good analytical and fault finding skills
* Will have good communication skills and able to mentor junior engineers
