We are recruiting for a software organisation that is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to support their transition to a global team, collaborating with local and international members.
Role: Global Payroll Manager
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, Hybrid - 3 days on site
Description:
The main focus will be on payroll for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa, with responsibility for managing a team of 4 payroll analysts. The ideal candidate will be strategic, proactive in implementing changes, and bring a fresh perspective to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of 4 payroll analysts
* Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for UK, Ireland, and South Africa
* Utilize automation and tools to improve payroll operations
* Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
* Oversee global payroll functions strategically
* Implement enhancements to payroll processes
* Manage global payroll operations using SAP across multiple regions
Minimum Qualifications:
* Strong leadership skills in an enterprise environment
* Extensive experience in payroll processing and management
* Payroll experience in UK and Ireland required; global payroll experience preferred
* Ability to automate payroll processes
* At least 5 years of payroll experience
