HGV Drainage Engineer
Location: Manchester
Pay: £39,000 - £41,600 per annum + overtime at time and a half
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with drainage experience looking for your next career move? Vector Recruitment Solutions are working with a Kent based Drainage Specialist to hire HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineers to join their expanding team.
This position will include working within a rail environment and therefore there will be regular drug and alcohol testing.
The Role
* Drive and operate Tankers, Combi Units and/or Recyclers.
* Mainly consisting of rail works however may also include commercial and water board clients carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
* Carry out tankering, jetting, interceptor cleaning, wet well cleaning, lining and confined space work.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC (HGV Class 1 desirable)
* Pass a drug and alcohol test.
* Proven experience driving and operating drainage tankers and/or combi units
* Physically fit and willing to carry out hands‑on drainage work
* Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts
* Additional skills desirable: PTS, Streetworks, HPWJ (High-Pressure Water Jetting), Confined Space.
Hours and Pay
* Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm
* Overtime and weekend work available
* £15 - £16 per hour (DOE)
* Overtime at time and a half
