Responsibilities
* Act within the care team and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, to supervise, support and assist in the induction and training of the care staff.
* Act as the senior person on duty in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy.
* Assist in the regular review of risk assessments and care plans in line with legislation or changes in resident needs.
* Administer residents Medication in accordance with the Homes drug administration system and pharmaceutical guidelines.
* Maintain a high standard of care and a homely environment for residents.
* Be available on call in accordance with the on call rota.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in the health care sector is essential.
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 or equivalent.
* Full or part-time hours available; shifts are 6:45am – 2:15pm and/or 1:45pm – 9:15pm.
* Successful candidate must be available to work alternate weekends and participate in an on-call rota.
