Your new role
Our esteemed client are seeking a Junior to Intermediate Building Surveyor to join their Belfast office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects acrossmercial, education, residential, and public sectors. You will be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality surveying services and contributing to the success of our Built Asset Consultancy division.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Undertake building surveys, inspections, and technical due diligence.
2. Assist in preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
3. Support contract administration and project delivery from inception topletion.
4. Contribute to feasibility studies, planning applications, andpliance reviews.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful oues.
6. Promote sustainability and best practice in building maintenance and refurbishment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you'll be degree qualified in Building Surveying (or related technical discipline), and be working towards / recently achieved MRICS accreditation (or equivalent). You'll possess a strong technical understanding of construction methods and building regulations, excellentmunication and organisational skills and a proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving. As part of the client facing arm of the business, you'll be expected to conduct yourself with integrity and professionalism at all times, maintaining the excellent industry name thispany have be synonymous with. You'll also have a full UK driving licence, due to the mobile nature of the job at hand.
