Are you looking for a flexible role where you can make a positive impact on people's lives?
If you're a fun, kind, and compassionate person, then we're looking for you too!
You'll be based in one of our friendly homes in Aylesbury, supporting and empowering adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible – whether that's teaching everyday life skills, attending appointments together, or sharing hobbies and interests.
Whilst the people who draw on our support enjoy their daily routines, we can guarantee that no day will be the same. You might find yourself supporting Holly* to go to the cinema, Sarah* to volunteer at the local food bank, or enjoying a cosy evening in with Josie* watching a musical with a foot spa. Whilst *Harry enjoys listening to music and playing the piano, *Josh enjoys going to the local pub on a Friday.
You'll build close relationships and create a safe and trusting environment for the administration of daily medications and intimate care, as well as empowering the people who draw on our support to make their own choices and be in control of their own lives.
We are hoping that you know what's happening locally or know where to look for new experiences and opportunities, encouraging connectedness and purpose where they live.
