Salary: £13.62 – £23.79 per hour (London weighting), depending on qualifications and experience.

Position Overview
We’re recruiting for a Lecturer – SEND to join our team on a sessional, hourly‑paid basis. You will provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department’s courses, and contribute to the development of our course offer.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and develop lessons, including the development of schemes of work
* Develop and implement learner‑centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and developmental feedback for our students
* Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
* Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standards in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
* Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students to support them in their own development and future progression
* Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
* Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors
* Good administrative skills and ability to accurately track students’ attendance, progress and achievements
