West London CAMHS is looking for an 0.4 WTE Team Lead (Band 8b) to join our innovative new North West London Non‑Violent Resistance (NVR) Support and Intervention Service pilot on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The pilot aims to provide access to NVR for families and carers of neuro‑divergent young people aged 0‑18 currently on the Dynamic Support Register (DSR).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and innovative clinician who can take a leading role using a creative and dynamic approach, maintaining clinical curiosity, engaging in reflective practice, and advocating for children, young people and families’ needs.
The service will cover young people and their families, registered with a GP and resident within the NWL boroughs of Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Hillingdon, Harrow, Brent, Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. You will be joining a welcoming senior leadership team in West London committed to service improvement, staff well‑being and valuing diversity in our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinically lead the pilot, including service development and stakeholder consultation with health, social care and third‑sector organisations.
* Line‑manage clinical staff and support the delivery of NVR interventions.
* Advocate for the needs of children, young people and families, maintaining clinical curiosity and engaging in reflective practice.
* Provide regular supervision from the CAMHS Head of Discipline and co‑lead within community and specialist teams.
* Support and implement commitments to staff well‑being and manageable job plans.
