Transport Clerk required
Grafters Stoke are currently looking for a Transport Clerk to work out of our client in Stoke-on-Trent, this is a full-time position with an immediate start available.
For this Transport Clerk / Logistics Clerk / Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring all associated paperwork is efficiently and accurately filled.
* Communication with drivers.
* Input run details to provide accurate data required for departmental KPI’s.
* Complete debrief of all core and agency drivers.
* To support wider transport operation, including use of ‘microlise’ system.
* Dispatch core, agency and sub contractor drivers.
For this Transport Clerk / Logistics Clerk / Transport Administrator, you will need:
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and part of a team.
* To be computer literate.
* Ability to support and demonstrate the depot values and high performance behaviours.
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Details of this Transport Clerk / Logistics Clerk / Transport Administrator role:
* Competitive hourly rate of £14.21PH with an additional night premium of £1.06PH
* Positive and friendly environment including free on-site parking.
* Day Shifts: 06:30 – 18:30 - Night Shifts: 18:30 – 06:30
* Week 1: Work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday to Sunday.
* Week 2: Off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday to Sunday - Then the pattern repeats, switching from days to nights every two weeks.
