Teaching Assistant – Enhanced Support & Behaviour Focus
Location: South Shields
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time + Training Days
Start: Immediate
Pay: Excellent daily rate
Are you confident in supporting learners who sometimes find behaviour, structure or routines challenging? This TA role involves helping pupils stay regulated, engaged and safe while accessing learning and school life.
Your role includes
1. Supporting pupils with behaviour regulation throughout the day
2. Helping implement agreed strategies consistently
3. Encouraging independence, social skills and positive choices
4. Working closely with teachers and support staff
5. Monitoring and communicating pupil progress
We’re looking for
6. Experience working with children with behaviour needs, ASD or complex needs
7. Calm, respectful and confident approach
8. Good communication and teamworking skills
9. TA qualification helpful but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
