The Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving electrical systems, equipment reliability, and automation processes within our manufacturing operations.
You will work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and control panels Support PLC programming, fault finding, and system upgrades Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation issues to minimise downtime Lead and contribute to continuous improvement and capital projects Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards Support preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Participate in commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades Produce and maintain electrical documentation and technical drawings Qualifications & Experience Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred) Knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar) Experience with control systems, drives, and automation Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations Desirable Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing Knowledge of robotics or advanced automation Project management experience Chartered status or working toward professional accreditation What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Career development and progression opportunities Ongoing training and professional development A collaborative and innovative engineering environment Opportunity to work on advanced manufacturing technologies Our client combine engineering heritage with forward-thinking innovation. xxuwjjq
