Role Overview We are working in partnership with a well-established organisation within a regulated industry to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of site equipment and infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair equipment faults, coordinating with external contractors when necessary. Develop and implement effective maintenance policies and procedures. Carry out planned preventative maintenance programmes. Manage spare parts inventory and conduct Health & Safety assessments. Maintain accurate records to support regulatory compliance. Review and manage service and maintenance contracts. Perform quality inspections to ensure operational standards are met. Monitor and control maintenance-related costs. Oversee procurement activities and supervise external service providers. Candidate Requirements Essential: Experience working in a regulated environment. HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant time-served apprenticeship in a similar discipline. Desirable: Familiarity with regulatory audits. Experience with PLC systems.
