Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS) Location: Sheffield (S13) Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Passionate about supporting students’ learning across different subjects, while bringing confidence and organisation to the role. GSL Education are recruiting a reliable Cover Supervisor to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences, with opportunities available across schools located in the S13 area of Sheffield. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes, deliver pre-set work, and maintain a positive learning environment. You will play a key role in keeping students focused and engaged while supporting the smooth running of lessons. Prime Responsibilities: Supervise classes across various subjects using lesson plans provided. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment. Support students to stay on task and complete assigned work. Provide feedback to teaching staff where required. Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting. Confidence in managing classrooms independently as a Cover Supervisor. Strong communication and organisational skills. A professional and flexible approach to school life. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
