Job Description:
Senior Recruitment Consultant or above
Based in Cambridge City Centre (Hills Road)
We're looking to grow our Cambridge team with experienced consultants wanting to further their career with an industry leader. If you're seeking flexibility, work-life balance, and a well-established brand that supports you, Hays could be your next employer!
Your New Team:
Our Cambridge office is in the heart of the historical city and is an established team with over 20 years of experience recruiting for clients across Cambridgeshire. We have a team of 20 specialist recruiters covering Technology, Construction and Property, HR, Procurement, and Professional services including Business Support, HR, Senior Finance, Accountancy and Finance, and Marketing. You will be part of our East of England region, comprising 10 offices.
Your New Role:
As an experienced consultant, you will bring your expertise to our team, either in your specialist sector or by expanding into a new sector. Your role will involve attracting top talent and providing outstanding service, managing the candidate experience from initial contact to post-start support. Your activities will be equally divided between candidate and client engagement, with objectives focused on building relationships, converting candidate relationships into client relationships, and establishing yourself as a recruiting expert in your market.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You should have a strong work ethic, be motivated and enthusiastic about a career in recruitment. Prior recruitment experience is necessary; managerial experience is helpful but not essential. You should be eager to work hard, achieve targets, and thrive in a corporate environment. Building market knowledge and strong relationships is key. You should be ambitious, driven, and possess strong sales, consulting, and advising skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, passion, credibility, and drive are essential for building relationships with candidates and clients, vital for your success and the business's.
What you’ll get in return:
Hays offers comprehensive training and development support, including classroom training and on-the-job coaching, to help you build a successful career. We recognize success through promotions, uncapped commissions, and incentives. Our culture promotes growth, varied career paths, and inclusion, celebrating diversity. As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds to create a better future together.
