We’re working with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Southampton, who are looking to expand their tax team with the addition of a Personal Tax Semi Senior or Senior. The role offers exposure to a varied client base, progression prospects, and a collaborative team environment.
💼 The Role:
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including business owners, landlords, HNWIs, and directors
Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
Supporting with P11Ds, capital gains tax and ad hoc personal tax queries
Exposure to some corporation tax or mixed tax work if desired
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and provide advice
Supporting junior members of the team (at Senior level)
🎓 About You:
You’ll have at least 2–3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice in a personal tax or mixed tax role
Ideally ATT qualified, or studying towards ATT / CTA (not essential)
Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and basic advisory
A great communicator who enjoys working with clients directly
Keen to grow in a firm where you’ll be recognised and supported
