Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse operations and driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining an organised and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of driving experience and warehouse skills, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Duties
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
* Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
* Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
* Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and organising stock.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse.
Skills
* Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements.
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, including knowledge of inventory management systems.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required for loading and unloading tasks.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
