Job title\: Procurement Engineer Location\: Samlesbury – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary\: £41,361 What you’ll be doing: Supporting timely placement of Purchase Orders whilst ensuring adherence to Supply Chain/Supplier governance such as supplier accreditations and export controls Updating delivery dates into multiple ERP systems to ensure data accuracy Effective customer relationship management maintaining strong, effective relationships Interfacing across the Air business and with other teams and functions, e.g. PM, Engineering, Commercial, Finance Adhering to Supply Chain/Supplier governance such as supplier accreditations and export controls Assisting colleagues with ad hoc tasks Your skills and experiences: Essential: Procurement experience, and Supply Chain orderbook management experience A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment Demonstrative working understanding of tool sets and IT such as ERP systems Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations. The Performance Delivery Team: The Performance Delivery team is central to ensuring smooth procurement and supply chain operations, supporting the full Procure-to-Pay process from order placement through to invoice payments.
