As the Head of Transformation Office, you will support Openwork in the coordination and delivery of the Transformation agenda across the organisation. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight, coordination and management of the Openwork Transformation Office. You will be responsible for ensuring all Transformation activity is organised, coordinated and being delivered effectively across the firm. Reporting to The Change & Transformation Director you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Transformation milestones, scope, resourcing, KPI’s, dependencies, risks and financials. You will be expected to understand the scope, objectives and status of all Transformation initiatives and be able to connect the dots, manage dependencies and spot risks early before they materialise. The role will facilitate effective cross portfolio delivery and will support in issue resolution and removing blockers as needed. In the role you will also be responsible for ensuring governance, process and disciplines are being applied consistently across the Transformation. This is a hybrid role based in our Swindon office. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and manage the Transformation Office, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure project alignment with organisational goals. Provide line management responsibility for the Transformation Office Analyst. Help embed Transformation disciplines and toolkits and advise on best practice. Embed Transformation planning and monitoring tools and technology. Act as key point of contact for delivery teams and key business owners. Ensure effective storage, maintenance and access for key documentation, artefacts and policies; ensuring we are always ‘audit ready’. Maintain project management frameworks, and methodologies to support transformation initiatives. Oversee the usage of frameworks across projects. Ensure effective usage and fit for purpose artefacts to aid projects through the lifecycle. Own and maintain the end-to-end Transformation Roadmap and ensure alignment with current status of initiatives. Own and maintain all Transformation data, such as milestones, dates, scope, RAID and costs. Own, maintain and monitor Transformation benefits and KPI’s. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned to strategic goals and objectives. Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance and effectiveness. What will you need to succeed? Experienced and accomplished change and transformation professional with a track record of supporting and enabling cross functional transformation. Experience in management consulting or senior roles within financial services organisations. Experienced in setting up Enterprise PMO or Transformation Offices with track record of owning and maintaining master data (plans, milestones, benefits, costs resourcing etc). Proven ability to oversee a macro level roadmap but also be able to deep dive into projects to resolve issues. Proven ability to link strategic KPI’s to project KPI’s and embed value management into the delivery culture. Value Management Office experience advantageous. Proven track record of results in high growth organisations and experience in dealing with fluid, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Experience in supporting or delivering a cross functional change agenda, consisting of digital, technology, data, operational and regulatory initiatives. Change and Transformation knowledge with knowledge and experience across a range of business functions. Extensive knowledge within either IT, Operations or Regulatory transformation. Strong understanding of wealth management, mortgage, and protection products is a plus. Demonstrable knowledge of effective prioritisation of change, budgeting and resource allocation. Why us?
