About the Role:
You will work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them to access learning in a positive and structured environment. The role may involve one-to-one support, small group work, and close collaboration with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals.
Responsibilities:
Support pupils with SEMH needs across the school day
Implement tailored behaviour strategies and emotional support plans
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Help pupils build confidence, develop resilience, and reach their potential
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEMH, ASD, or behavioural needs
Calm, empathetic, and proactive in your approach
Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
Knowledge of de-escalation techniques or Team Teach (desirable but not essential)
