Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Catalina Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong background in restaurant management, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

As passionate ambassadors for local produce, Executive Chef Stephen Holland and his culinary team believe that simplicity is often the key to creating cuisine that really showcases indigenous ingredients.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor restaurant staff to ensure excellent service standards.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
2. Customer Service:
- Ensure guests receive outstanding service from arrival to departure in line with AA Standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in the restaurant.
3. Operations Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table turnover to optimise capacity and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
4. Financial Management:
- Monitor and control restaurant expenses to meet budgetary targets.
- Maximise revenue through effective upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and profitability.
5. Menu Development and Quality Control:
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and update menus based on seasonal availability and guest preferences.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverage offerings to maintain high standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-end dining establishment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly and efficiently.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
