We are recruiting for an Admin Assistant for a long established company in Bournemouth.
Hours: The role involves working a 36.5-hour week, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 4pm on Friday, with a half-hour lunch break.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Company: The 60-year-old family-run business is a leader in the supply and maintenance of commercial laundry and catering equipment. They are prominent suppliers and repair agents for offshore, marine, and onshore businesses, including military vessels, hotels, nursing homes, local authorities, NHS, marinas, and holiday parks. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality products and services, stocking top manufacturers, and providing expert advice and support throughout the purchase and maintenance process.
Duties include:
* Answering telephone enquiries
* Booking and dispatching goods (UK and worldwide)
* Chasing orders
* Invoicing
* Filing
* Assisting in other areas as needed
Applicant skills and attributes:
* A flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach
* Good team player
* Effective communication skills via email and Microsoft Teams
* Excellent report writing and attention to detail
* Problem-solving skills
* Experience in data processing, customer service, or office administration is desirable but full training will be provided
