Weymouth Harbour is looking for someone to join our friendly and hard‑working team for the summer season. Based on the harbourside, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer‑facing skills. You will be greeting customers at the reception desk, helping them with enquiries, providing a professional and first-rate service.
You will be supporting the day‑to‑day harbour activities, maintaining records, communicating with customers, corresponding by email, processing payments and financial transactions.
You do not need extensive maritime experience, but an interest in boating and a willingness to learn are important.
We need someone from April to September who can work two days per week (Monday and Tuesday 0800 - 18.15), but who can also work additional hours to cover annual leave. This will include weekends and bank holidays.
