Pharmacist ManagerHours: Monday to Sunday - variable shifts available - Full TimeHourly Rate: From £26.00 per hour depending on experience.Main purpose of the roleAs a community pharmacist you will be able to offer expert advice on the prescription and use of medications. Dispensing drugs to patients and providing advice on how to take them safely. Supervise the prescriptions dispensed to patients to ensure their safety, quality, and compliance with law.
Responsible for managing, supporting and training direct reports.Primary responsibilitiesDispensing medications to patientsCheck prescriptions for accuracy and safetyEnsures legal compliance in the pharmacy, reviewing labels, doses and proceduresSecures and monitors controlled drugs to maintain regulatory complianceSupervises and trains other pharmacy staff such as technicians and counter assistantsCommunicates with doctors about prescriptionsAdvised patients on proper use of prescription medicationDiscusses side effects and potential adverse interactions of drugsOffers various wellness and screening servicesTo develop, promote and provide NHS & private servicesManage pharmacy stock and budgetUses IT to maintain records and track stockResponsible for the management and development of employees ensuring compliance with legislative and company policy & procedure.Remains aware of latest pharmaceutical products, developments, and lawsAny other duties as requestedPerson specificationWell groomed and presentable.Relevant degree in PharmacyRegistration with GPHCPharmacist experience essentialSupervisory / Management skillsAbility to use own initiativeAbility to work effectively to deadlinesHigh level of concentrationMethodical and accurate approach to practical tasksStrong communication and excellent customer service skillsTrustworthy and understanding of confidentiality issuesProfessional, tactful and friendly attitudeExcellent team working skillsMethodical and accurate approach to practical tasksCommitment to continuing professional development and trainingIT literateJob Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: In personTPBN1_UKTJ
