My client, an innovative, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of specialist engineers, near the northern, picturesque town of Harrogate.
Essential Criteria:
1. A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other similar discipline
2. Extensive experience of working with flood risk and drainage strategies
3. Demonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
4. Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S106, and others)
5. Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing mentorship and leadership to junior colleagues
8. Demonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following:
9. Experience of managing projects or teams
10. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design software
11. Good time management skills
