Your New Role
You'll be joining a professional finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This hybrid role offers flexibility for remote working while maintaining collaboration with the office team.
Your responsibilities will include
* Leading the purchase ledger function and managing supplier payments.
* Administering banking and payment processes in line with internal controls.
* Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual management information (MI) and reconciliations.
* Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors.
* Preparing financial reports for the parent organisation.
* Maintaining sections of the Finance Manual to ensure documentation is current and compliant.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Part-qualification in CIMA or AAT Level 4.
* Experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
* Strong understanding of purchase ledger and banking processes.
* Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliations.
* Experience supporting statutory accounts preparation.
* Excellent communication skills, especially when dealing with auditors.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confidence using Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* A proactive and reliable approach to managing responsibilities.
