Key Responsibilities
* Performing FCAW welding tasks to a high standard
* Working primarily within our clients large fabrication workshop
* Ensuring all work complies with industry safety regulations and quality standards
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
* Collaborating with team members to accomplish project goals
* Maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines
* Potentially transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and availability
Job Requirements
* Solid experience in FCAW welding
* Proficiency in welding within the marine sector or similar heavy industries
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in welding
* Adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic
Contract Details
* Initial contract duration of 5-6 weeks with the potential for permanent transition
* Standard 40-hour work week with overtime available
* £23/h Umb co Standard / £34.50/h Overtime (can go CIS)
* £17.17/h PAYE Standard plus £2.07/h holiday pay / £25.76/h plus £3.11/h holiday pay
