The Role
Reports to: Biometric Operations Lead
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - at least once a week)
Salary: £40k-£45k (Base) + 10% Performance Bonus + Equity + Benefits
We are hiring a Biometric Operations Analyst to join our Science team as part of our rapid growth this year.
Key Responsibilities
1. Optimize the biometric platform by understanding configuration impacts, identifying underperforming models, and working with product teams to improve performance.
2. Facilitate deployment of new biometric systems/models, ensuring thorough evaluation, optimizing configurations, and tracking performance post-deployment.
3. Design and utilize analysis and diagnostic tools, collaborate with Data Team, communicate trends, and work to eliminate bias within the platform.
4. Support customer issue investigation by managing tickets, understanding platform performance, and resolving concerns.
5. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with front-end changes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience with BigQuery and large data set analysis
* Understanding of complex system interactions
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
* Curious, eager to learn, and collaborative
