Where will you be working?

You’ll join our Engineering Solutions team, as the UK’s leading highway maintenance contractor, utilizing the latest innovations to create effective solutions. Our services include planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
* Undertaking highways maintenance and improvement schemes following current highway standards.
* Producing design drawings using AutoCAD and creating construction packages, including design drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities, and Environmental / H&S considerations, in compliance with QSE standards and processes.
* Producing technical reports and other technical outputs to achieve project outcomes.
* Providing technical training and supervision of Technicians.
* Attending site visits, bridge surveys, investigations, and structure inspections (General, Principal, and Safety).
* Utilizing software for highway alignment, traffic signs, and drainage design.
What you’ll bring
* A relevant degree in Civil Engineering.
* Design and construction experience within the highway sector.
* Knowledge of analytical software applied to bridges & highway structures.
* Understanding of Highways England standards, including DMRB & MCDHW, and Eurocodes for design.
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety & Environment considerations in design and construction.
* Proficiency in design software and Microsoft Office.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to organize and prioritize.
* A UK/EEC driving license.
