This is a unique opportunity to contribute to some of the most exciting sporting moments in the country—including the Tour of Britain, the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and the build-up to the Tour de France Grand Départ in 2027.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a visual storyteller with strong digital and editorial skills who wants to make a real impact through sport. You’ll support the day-to-day delivery of Beicio Cymru’s content plan—managing our digital platforms, producing content, and attending key events to capture video and photography.
Working closely with the Digital Communications & Marketing Lead, you’ll:
* Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media, website and email
* Film and edit short videos for campaigns, events and social platforms (e.g. reels, recaps, interviews)
* Write and upload articles, rider stories, news items and announcements
* Maintain and update website content (WordPress)
* Create graphics and visuals using templates in Canva
* Schedule content and manage the content calendar
* Support major campaigns and events, including the Beicio Cymru Awards, Welsh Championships, Tour of Britain, Commonwealth Games 2026 and Tour de France Grand Départ 2027
* Help track engagement metrics and contribute to content reporting
This is a part-time role (3 days / 21 hours per week), based one day per week at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome in Newport, with flexibility for hybrid working. Travel to events across Wales may occasionally be required.
Contract Type:2-year fixed term
Salary:£24,000 pro rata (£14,400 per annum)
Start Date:August 2025 onwards, subject to notice periods
