Duties:
- Provide administrative support to Fee Earners for Conveyancing, Wills and Probate.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, transfers, HMRC Stamp
Duty, Land Registry registration, client and Solicitor letters (audio typing) and Wills.
- Organise and maintain legal files and documents including archiving.
- Schedule appointments, meetings.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information.
- Communicate with clients and Solicitors.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- General office duties.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary would be of advantage but training would be given- - Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal software applications (we use LEAP and training will be given)
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
