Areen Design is looking for a proactive and technically skilled Architectural Technician to support the delivery of an innovative and world-class aviation project. You’ll play a key role in bringing ideas to life whilst ensuring every design meets regulatory standards and is built to last.
What You’ll Be Doing
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Develop construction packages, schedules, and specifications
Ensure full compliance with current building regulations and codes
Design Development
Translate conceptual designs into buildable solutions
Resolve technical detailing in collaboration with architects and consultants
Regulatory Compliance
Apply current building regs and planning policies
Site & Construction Support
Respond to RFIs and clarify design intent during build phase
Quality & Sustainability
Ensure accurate records and document control
Apply sustainable and cost-effective design principles
Support the day-to-day studio operations
Contribute to team meetings and project discussions
What You’ll Bring
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods
Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills
