About the role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to join our dynamic team at BYD UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse operations, supporting our mission to provide innovative energy storage solutions.
Location: Hounslow/Birmingham, United Kingdom
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage all administrative functions related to warehouse operations.
* Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory and equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and shipments.
* Work closely with logistics, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient material handling.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
* Regularly reconcile shipping and receiving data with the HQ.
* Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments.
* Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to coordinate logistics
Ideal candidate profile:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics administration role.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments is a plus.
* A current full clean UK driving licence
* Right to Work in the UK
