Due to recent growth, they seek a first-class Business Development Manager to strengthen their UK commercial operations. The role involves leading sales efforts within the UK and Ireland, focusing on project-driven customers, with the potential to develop into UK and Ireland Country Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage sales of tailored fire prevention systems to process industry customers.
2. Win new clients and grow existing accounts to drive revenue.
3. This is a home-based role requiring regular national customer visits.
4. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiations.
5. Develop new business and maintain existing relationships.
6. Collaborate with marketing activities such as trade shows and seminars.
7. Travel approximately 50-60 days per year.
Candidate Profile:
1. Ambitious with a desire to shape their career.
2. Technically curious, independent, and an active listener.
3. Strategic thinker with strong business development skills.
4. Excellent at engaging customers and selling across departments.
5. Skilled in upselling and cross-selling.
6. Effective communicator capable of engaging diverse decision-makers.
7. Experience in industrial solutions sales with medium to long sales cycles is advantageous.
