Working supportively as part of a small team is essential.The Rock Houses are set over 3 different levels, and the role involves a lot of movement between these. There are steep slopes and steps at the property that will need to be navigated.We welcome over 55,000 visitors to the Rock Houses each year and offer a very special National Trust experience.Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can by ensuring a great welcome when they arrive and exit. You'll be working as part of a small team and will open the Rock Houses each morning ensuring they are ready and presentable for our visitors and opening visitor reception. You'll support with the setup of any events that are taking place and any other tasks that may be required. The end of each day will be the closing down the property and cleaning the visitor facilities.
