Quantity surveyor required for this award winning contractor who have an impeccable reputation of delivering a high quality construction projects nationwide. The business are pioneers in their space and as such require an exceptional Quantity Surveyor to join them on the journey.
Current project value is over £5m with an exceptional pipeline to 2027 and beyond they are looking to integrate and support the new QS on project delivery. Guided by industry leaders who are doing the job with you this gives you a phenomenal opportunity.
Your role will cover both residential and commercial projects from traditional to complex design so you will need to be a well versed QS with commercially astute outlook.
Key Responsibilities;
* Provide clear commercial reporting to Directors and key stakeholders Lead and oversee the full commercial lifecycle of projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Manage and negotiate contracts
* Provide robust cost planning, forecasting, and risk management at every stage of the project
* Undertake detailed tender analysis and contract negotiation
* Track and control project costs, valuations, and variations ensuring alignment with financial goals
* Advise on value engineering, cost control, and buildability
* Mentor and support junior QS team members in their technical and professional development.
* Ensure full compliance with sustainability goals, quality standards, and SHEQ framework
* Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners, upholding business reputation as a contractor of choice
For any interested Quantity Surveyors it is essential you have extensive experience in surveying with a proven track record of delivery. Possess a strong understanding of commercial project drivers and the ability to influence where necessary. MRICS or working toward chartered status is a desirable but not essential.
