Job TitleQuality Engineer - Complex AnalysisLocationWokingWe are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer - Complex Analysis to be based at our site in WokingThe primary objective of this role is to lead the investigation of Complex Issues arising within the life cycle of McLaren Automotive’s products. The Complex Analysis team is a centre of excellence for problem solving and you will be working to understand, contain, and root cause complex issues across the breadth of the company and product.Knowledge, skills & experience: * Experience of undertaking structured problem solving, preferably in an engineering / manufacturing environment* Engineering degree background, preferably mechanical, automotive, or motorsport (or equivalent experience)* Experience using CAD software and interpreting engineering drawings* Confident in complex Data Analysis using MS Excel and Power BI* Working knowledge of FMEA and Design for Manufacture would be advantageous* Experience of successfully working as part of a cross functional team* Confident in presenting work / feedback to both higher and lower levels in the company* An ability to challenge others and their conclusions constructivelyPersonal attributes: * An ability to deliver under pressure with an appetite for success* A passion for problem solving* A positive, proactive attitude, self-reliant with a high level of self-motivation* An engaging mind, open to new solutions outside your normal comfort zone* A willingness to engage in debate and discussion* Empathy, a willingness to listen and see others’ points of viewWe offer a wide – ranging benefits package, which includes:* Structured career development framework* 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holiday.
