KERUB is a dynamic start-up mediation service, dedicated to helping individuals and families resolve disputes in a fair, professional, and supportive way. We are growing quickly and are looking for a highly organised and motivated Practice Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our service.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring smooth running of all administrative, compliance, and client-facing processes. You will work closely with the Director and mediators, providing operational support and helping to develop systems that support our growth and reputation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing case administration and ensuring compliance with FMC and legal aid requirements.
* Supporting mediators in scheduling, documentation, and case progression.
* Overseeing financial processes, including invoicing and tracking payments.
* Developing and improving office systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and external partners in a professional and supportive manner.
* Supporting the business in its growth, including contributing to strategic planning and marketing initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Prior experience working within a mediation service (essential).
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Understanding of compliance requirements in mediation (including legal aid).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently in a start-up environment and contribute to the growth of the service.
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
