Your new role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of highway works, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, andpliance across all site activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Setting out works in line with design drawings and specified tolerances
2. Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld on site
3. Supporting the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and task briefings
4. Interpreting and implementing Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring hold points are met
5. Providing technical support and resolving engineering queries
6. Assisting with permits, site documentation, and change management processes
7. Checking calibration and accuracy of survey equipment and control points
8. Preparing sketches and supporting documentation for site use
9. Maintaining accurate site diaries and tracking project progress
10. Assisting with procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors
What you'll need to succeed
11. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering projects
12. Experience working on highways or infrastructure schemes (desirable)
13. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
14. Excellentmunication and stakeholder management skills
15. Valid CSCS card
16. Full UK driving licence
