Assembly Operative Temporary Contract From £12.21 per hour | 34 months
We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our team on a temporary basis. Youll be responsible for assembling and testing components, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and test components (valves, switches, alternators, controls) into units or subassemblies.
Read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Materials.
Select and check materials against requirements.
Inspect products, escalate defects, and follow all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace in line with 5S and preventative maintenance.
Support team KPIs, training, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
Good general education and English communication skills.
Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures.
Confident with basic maths (fractions, decimals, whole numbers).
Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Contract & Hours:
Temporary contract (34 months).
Pay: From £12.21 per hour.
Hours: Mondays & Tuesdays: 6:00 am 4:00 pm, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 6:00 am 3:45 pm
