Borders Adult Community Mental Health Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the above post to join the Mental Health Service to support the delivery of an effective and efficient administrative service within Mental Health Services.
The post holder is also responsible for the line management of secretarial and administrative staff within the Borders Adult Community Mental Health Service and Borders Crisis and Liaison Team, who provide a full and comprehensive administration service to a multi-disciplinary mental health team.
Candidates must possess administrative and supervisory experience. To fulfil this role, applicants should have relevant working knowledge, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organisational skills.
You will be able to work on your own initiative and learn quickly. You will have a high level of computer literacy, in particular with Microsoft office packages. Some knowledge of NHS systems would be advantageous. You will be enthusiastic, reliable and willing to build relationships with both internal and external colleagues.

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
