About the Role
South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Child and Adolescent mental health team based at Folly Hall Mills, Huddersfield.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the CAMHS SERVICE.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist who is passionate about providing timely services in outpatient setting and ensuring safe and effective interventions are delivered to our vulnerable population. The CAMHS outpatient team comprises of neurodevelopmental, learning disabilities, crisis, eating disorders pathways and core CAMHS comprising of multidiscipline with good skill set. The Consultant will work with all the disciplines of the team, and with external agencies within the child's network, to provide assessments, consultation, advice and support to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting to our service.
The post holder will be offered additional PAs for leadership and caseload management, with opportunities to work flexibly and virtually depending on clinical needs.

Salary and Contract
Starting salary aligned with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£119,490 - £145,478). Placement on the scale will be reviewed where applicable based on NHS consultant experience.
Grade: Consultant; Contract: Permanent; Working pattern: Full-time, Flexible working.

Person Specification
Eligibility
* Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise, or have checked GMC eligibility and commenced the application process at the time of NHS jobs application.
* Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or within six months of gaining CCT.
* Approved clinician status or able to achieve within three months of appointment.
* Approved under S12 or able to achieve within three months of appointment.
