Overview
We are seeking an experienced 3D Printing Technician / Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support, train, and install 3D printers across the UK & Ireland, working with our engineering and sales teams to provide technical support for our 3D printing products and services. This is a full-time role within our Technical Team, providing hands-on experience with modern manufacturing technologies in our office and on customer sites.
The position requires you to:
* Understand, solve and present solutions to engineering Additive Manufacturing related challenges
* Provide excellent training and support to new and advanced 3D printer users
* Work with existing customers to help achieve effective systems deployment
* Work across various industries whilst continually developing advanced and varied 3D Printing skills
* Assist with servicing and maintenance of machines
* To work independently and as part of a team
* Learn different aspects of the business from technical support to logistics, to customer demonstrations and sales
* Be willing to travel to customer sites across the UK. This may also include visits abroad
Requirements for this position
* At least 1 year of experience in 3D printing, engineering or a related field (we will consider placement students)
* Familiarity with a variety of 3D printing technologies and equipment
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design or a related field
* Experience with CAD software and 3D modelling
* Familiarity with industrial 3D printing applications
* Previous experience in electrical systems, installations, or maintenance
* Experience providing technical support or training to customers
£24,000 – £28,000 based on experience
