Community & Reputation Lead FTC 12 Months
We’re looking for a Community & Reputation lead to join our External Affairs & Reputation Team at Flutter UK & Ireland on a 12 month contract.
As Community & Reputation lead, you’ll report into the Chief Reputation & External Affairs Officer and be part of a team of six.
You will apply your knowledge and experience to execute an impactful community and charity strategy ensuring we have a roadmap that delivers against our global community strategy, engages our UKI colleagues and delivers real social impact. You will be an exceptional relationship manager, capable of developing effective networks and adept at collaboration in order to leverage the power of our brands and talents of our people to amplify the impact we have in the community.
A key part of the role is our Charity of the Year partnership which has an important role in our community programming. You will have the opportunity to not only manage the partnership but the opportunity to grow and evolve it to achieve even bigger fundraising targets and impact. You should excel at mutli-tasking with experience of organising events and motivating others to engage. In addition to this you will also be responsible for managing the relationships with our other charity partners, leading flagship community projects and supporting the Charity Committees that are currently active.
This is a critical time for our team and an exciting opportunity to help shape the way we make a difference in the community. We are looking for someone creative, innovative, enthusiastic and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders. Someone not afraid to get involved but with a clear vision, engaging manner and strategic mindset.
What you’ll do
1. You’ll lead on the delivery and implementation of the Charity and Community strategy across the division.
2. You’ll be a key advisor and subject matter expert across the division offering support and guidance to stakeholders including leadership teams, individual brands and the wider People team.
3. You’ll plan, project manage and support our charity of the year partnerships and local community campaigns maximising colleague engagement and advocacy.
4. You’ll be responsible for identifying, establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with our local communities and our charity partners.
5. You will be responsible for building and supporting on the fundraising calendar across all locations within the division, including event management.
6. You will manage/oversee any contracts, data protection and due diligence between Flutter and our community/charity partners.
7. You’ll be responsible for managing the Charity and Community budgets effectively and efficiently, allocating resources on community projects and initiatives that will have the most impact local in addressing local needs, and forecast spend for the next year.
8. You’ll lead on ensuring the UK&I Ireland division delivers on the goals outlined in our Positive Impact Plan and be able to report accurately on our efforts. You’ll be a key conduit between local CSR committees, the different divisions across Flutter, local leadership sponsors and Group to ensure we’re driving a culture focussed on giving back.
9. You will represent UK&I on the Global Do More (Community) Working Group which acts as a global governance and collaborative forum for community leads around the world.
How you’ll do it:
10. Detailed knowledge and understanding of corporate social responsibility with a specific focus on community investment and volunteering ideally within a corporate setting.
11. Project/Programme management experience.
12. Proven track record supporting business leaders and their functions in a fast-paced, ever changing business environment.
13. Proven experience of developing and managing partnerships with community organisations / charitable organisations.
14. Experience of organising and managing corporate volunteers as well as building engaging volunteer programmes.
15. Experience in fundraising and event management.
16. Demonstratable experience of measuring the effectiveness of community investment. It would be helpful if you are familiar with the B4SI framework.
17. Experience in budgeting & reporting. Supported and developed internal CSR processes.
