Job Description:
This position combines the roles of an Office Manager and a Paralegal to support the operations of a single-family-multi-branch family office. The successful candidate will manage the office's day-to-day administrative tasks while also providing paralegal support related to trusts, estate planning, and wealth management among other areas. This role demands a high level of discretion, organizational skills, and legal acumen to support the family members and executive team effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the preparation and distribution of meeting packs, manage agendas for family members and the executive team.
2. Manage the facility budget, petty cash, upkeep bills, and liaise with property management and service providers.
3. Act as a liaison between family members, stakeholders, concierge service providers, and external legal counsels.
4. Conduct legal research, draft, and review legal documents, ensuring all legal documents are correctly filed and easily accessible.
5. Assist in performing due legal diligence for investment transactions and in preparing and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
