Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Machine Shop Quality Control Inspector based in Rotherham.
This is a crucial role within the business and the successful applicant will be encouraged to make improvements including quality control, modernisation and automation where possible. The Quality Inspector will be required to inspect a range of small to large engineered manufactured components. Managing inspection reports. Use a range of manual measuring equipment i.e., micrometers, verniers, thread gauges. First-off inspections at the machines is required, along with using CNC CMM machines and FARO arms.
Qualifications
* Current relevant experience in the same type of role and industry is essential.
* Proficiency in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Inspection processes
* Knowledge of Quality Management and compliance with industry standards
* Strong Communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration
* Attention to detail and capability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Experience in using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and other inspection tools
* Familiarity with industry standards like API 6A, OHSAS 18001, and ISO14001 is a plus
Terms & Conditions
This is a full time, permanent role currently on our Day shift (39 hour week).
Rate of Pay: £16.23-£16.92 per hour
