Technical Sales Manager
I'm working with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint a commercially driven Technical Sales Manager. This role focuses on growing strategic customer relationships and winning new business within core industrial sectors. You will own a portfolio of major accounts while actively identifying and securing new opportunities. The role offers a balanced mix of strategic account management and new prospect development in a fast‑paced, professional target‑led environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic customer accounts
* Build strong, long‑term client relationships and drive account growth
* Identify and convert new business opportunities within target markets
* Maintain a healthy pipeline and deliver against revenue targets
* Collaborate with global sales teams to support account expansion
* Deliver customer presentations, proposals, and tailored solutions
* Provide accurate forecasting and maintain CRM records
* Represent the business at client meetings and industry events
Qualifications
* Proven experience in technical or engineering and manufacturing‑led sales
* Strong track record in both nurturing existing accounts and exploring new opportunities
* Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions
* Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
* Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Experience within industrial, OEM, or engineered solutions environments would be advantageous.
