The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the management of operational activities, supervising staff, and managing resources including budgets. Supervisory and administrative skills are essential. Knowledge of residential care issues and relevant legislation is required together with experience of working with older people in residential care. Must hold NVQ Level III Health & Social Care (Adults).
As a deputy your main role and responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the provision of a planned and stimulating environment which provides for the care and for the emotional and physical well-being of clients in the home.
2. Ensuring the implementation, review and development of care or treatment plans for each client
3. Effective management and leadership of staff.
4. Maintaining good contacts and liaison outside the establishment to further the welfare of clients.
5. You will ensure satisfactory maintenance of the building and ensuring that equipment and grounds are in a safe and satisfactory condition
6. Maintaining confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines.
7. You may provide care and personal care to clients
