The successful candidate will work closely with the Performing Arts department to ensure that lessons, rehearsals and performances are supported with high-quality technical expertise. The role will involve preparing technical equipment, supporting productions and helping students gain practical experience in theatre production. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for Drama and Performing Arts lessons • Set up and maintain stage lighting, sound equipment and audio-visual systems • Assist with rehearsals and performances including school productions and events • Prepare and maintain stage sets, props and costumes • Support teachers and students in the safe use of technical theatre equipment • Manage and maintain the performing arts studio and theatre space • Operate sound and lighting systems during performances and rehearsals • Support students interested in technical theatre and stage production • Assist with the planning and organisation of performances and events • Maintain an inventory of technical equipment and ensure equipment is stored safely • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of theatre equipment when necessary • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed within performance spaces School Environment The school has a strong reputation for its commitment to the performing arts and regularly hosts productions, concerts and creative showcases throughout the year.
