Key Responsibilities
* Set up and calibrate machinery to meet production specifications efficiently.
* Conduct routine maintenance and promptly address any machinery issues to minimize downtime.
* Monitor the production process to ensure high-quality standards are continuously met.
* Keep accurate records of machine settings and production outputs for quality control.
* Work closely with team members to foster a collaborative, smooth-running production environment.
* Assist in training new operators on machinery and safety procedures.
Working hours- Monday-Friday- Dayshift
Rate of pay : £12.67/hour
Requirements
* Previous experience in machine setting or a similar role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
* Strong understanding of machinery operation, particularly in food production.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain machinery effectively.
* A keen eye for detail to ensure product quality and safety standards.
* Collaborative spirit and great communication skills to work effectively with the team.
* Willingness to embrace a dynamic work environment and adapt as needed.
