Overview
One Stop is looking for a strategic and commercially minded leader to drive our pricing and promotional planning. You’ll lead a team of analysts, shape our price policy, and deliver impactful promotions that are simple for stores, competitive in market, and loved by customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead the promotional planning process and strategy for the Product Team
* Lead the price optimisation team and pricing strategy for the business. Responsible for the price policy of One Stop
* Work closely with the central UK team to harmonise process and centralise price
* Manage the Product Price and Promotional analysts to support the price and promotional strategy.
* Assist in creating a strategic promotional plan to deliver better for customers and simpler for stores.
* Analysis and understand promotional effectiveness and incrementality to drive fewer, bigger, better promotions which are cost effective
* Work cross functionally to ensure customer perception consistently improves and our plans/initiatives are delivered effectively, efficiently and on time.
* Understand market competition and identify new opportunities in price and promotions
* Create a promotional plan that is best in class and appeals to our customers.
* Strive to be 1st in market for promotions, balance profit vs competitiveness on price
* Communicate price and promotions through an agreed marketing plan.
* Work with buyers and suppliers to deliver new promotional initiatives that drive benefits for One Stop.
* Work closely with the retail representative in the SSC to ensure retail sign off of promotions is gained well in advance.
* Clearly communicate price changes to the business
* Work to ensure that all promotional plans drive incrementality for stores and build a plan and process that is simple to execute.
* Work with supply chain promotional planning to deliver the most effective end to end promotions.
* Look at route cause of problems and offer other solutions.
* Ask for and action feedback.
* Plan and review my work to meet my objectives.
* Have a personal development plan for my behavioural and technical needs.
* I manage & conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure the safety, health & welfare at work of all colleagues & customers
